I will now proceed to take the game apart and criticize each part of it.ДЇor the most part, the locations you could play through in Sonic Colors were really well done. It's not quite as elaborate and serious as the story of Sonic Adventure, but it's much better (from what I've heard) than the story of Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. Essentially, Sonic and Tails ride a space elevator to investigate an interstellar amusement park that Eggman built out of 'remorse' for his past misdeeds, and discover that he's actually capturing aliens to power a mind-control ray to take over Sonic's planet. The game was overall very fun, which is obviously important. There are many high points of the game, and a few details that could made better. Sonic Colors is the first 3D Sonic game that I played. This was, is, and always will be the worst Sonic game. If you're thinking of buying this game, just get Sonic Unleashed or Sonic Generations. Not even to just draw comparisons, but just to cleanse myself of the horrific game i was playing. When i first played through this game, i had to take several breaks to play Sonic Unleashed. It took me less than 2 hours to complete. Not to mention, this is the easiest Sonic game to date. If you love Marble Zone and Labyrinth Zone from Sonic 1, you'll love colors. This is a 2D Sonic game that briefly switches to 3D for automated sections. There is only one joke in this game that actually works and its not even from the main cast. Not to mention the levels take you into sections of levels you JUST played! They are blocky and time wasting.ДЄnd the writing! MY GOD! How did he jump from a game about mortality and the fact that everything has to die (Sonic & the Black Knight) to a game that has the line 'Baldy Mc Nose Hair!? If you can find a single person who likes the Cube Wisp, i'll give you 100 dollars. The levels are riddled with gimmicks that are made to make the game longer. These are not the characters i grew up with. Tails is just a scaredy cat nerd and Eggman is an idiot.

I hate Sonic in this game, he's an idiot who never knows how to shut up. This game is what turned Sonic from a phenomenon into a joke. The writing and characterisation is awful, the stages are too slow, have terrible level design and are riddled with gimmicks, and the wisps are parasites. Sonic Colours is the worst of all 3D Sonics, and possibly of all Sonics. This game is a disgusting representation of Sonic The Hedgehog
